Captain on Hydra-Terra amphibious tour vessels. 90-minute narrated old town city and Ocean tour. Narrator as required. Operated 32' 6 passenger motor yacht tours to Misty Fjords and Traitor's Cove Bear excursions


Loveland Ski Resort – Dillon, CO 2022 – 2023 Winter/Spring Season

Snowboard Instructor Ski & Ride School. Instructed 8-14 yrs. And occasionally adult classes.


Freelance USCG Licensed Captain – San Diego, CA 2019 – 2021

As an on-call employee captained 40’ sloops on day sails (Sail San Diego), 22’ foot inflatables for shark filming (Net Zero Expeditions), SCUBA 44’ & 30’ diving vessels (Waterhorse Charters), 35’ Pontoon cycle boats (Paddle Pub), 36’ Atlantic Sport-fisher (Seabreeze Sport Fishing) and a 150-passenger ferry (Flagship). 


Old Town Trolley Tours - San Diego, CA 2018 - 2020

Captain on Hydra-Terra amphibious tour vessels. 90-minute narrated city and bay tour.

 - On call as a Driver & Narrator for 2 hours hop on-hop off San Diego & Coronado tour.


Founder: Sea of Companions LLC - San Diego, CA 2017 - 2019 (SD Ports# 69306)

A collaboration within San Diego Port Authorities governing bodies of water. Designed an app-based system to monitor and reduce Copper emissions from boat antifouling paint. 


Owner/Operator UBS Dive Center - British Virgin Islands 1996 -2017

Operated 3 dive boats, employed 5 SCUBA instructors, comprehensive retail store, equipment rental, repair facility and air fill station. Instruction & tours. Instructed students from more than 20 countries and have certified 941 divers in various disciplines.


Owner/Operator Underwater Boat Maintenance & Services Ltd. - Caribbean Islands of the Lesser Antilles 1996 – 2015

  • - Operated commercial, private & governmental vessels as first mate and diving safety officer. Work included: 


  • Ocean pipeline installations, maintenance and repairs for dredge transfers including desalination plants, sewage treatment plants and power utilities onshore pump stations and related ocean pipelines
  • Harbor and marina environmental impact assessments
  • Completed the first large scale ocean reef relocation in the Caribbean. (Scrub Island Development) Subsequent monitoring included - Sea floor surveying and mapping of the relocated corals.
  • Various underwater searches, salvage, and towing of lost vessels 
  •  In-water hull cleanings, inspections, repairs and propeller removals and replacements.


Owner/Operator Tortola Kayak Snorkel & Eco Tours – British Virgin Islands 2005 – 2015

Established contracts with various cruise ships and shore-side agents to conduct ecological tours. Kayak tours included marine ecosystem relationships between mangroves, sea grasses, coral reefs and their importance to the local marine life. Included fish & coral identification and visits to historical sites.


Founder: Reef Guardians - British Virgin Islands 2007 – 2011

Non-profit organization to protect, monitor and police the marine environment of the Virgin Islands. Dedicated to marine conversation with a mission to control the invasive Lionfish. Worked closely with various non-profit organizations and government agencies. Consultant in writing legislation with the PEW foundation for governmental laws establishing a marine sanctuary to ban shark and ray fishing within the British Virgin Islands.


Volunteer & Trainer with Virgin Islands Search & Rescue (VISAR) - British Virgin Islands 1994 – 2012

Certifying instructor in CPR, First Aid & AED. Designed and conducted ocean drills and scenarios for competency training for rescue boat response. VHF Radio relay station operator. Responded to over 50 emergency rescue calls at sea. Certified over 150 students.
